The Division is set to be released as an open beta on the 19th of February and Ubisoft has been working hard on a host of changes to the game
We had a lot of fun in the first beta for Ubisoft's The Division, it's an evocative vision of a post apocalyptic New York to be running around in, with plenty to do in terms of main and story missions and satisfyingly meaty gameplay. That closed beta is set to be followed by a full open beta on consoles and PC from the 19th of February, and there will be some big changes in store.
Ubisoft has released the full list of changes, which includes new enemies to tackle as well as the addition of the Tech wing at your base. This is a way to unlock new skills, with the specific mention of a deployable turret. That sounds like a lot of fun. One interesting point to note - if you already downloaded the closed beta don't delete it as you'll be able to play the new content after just a small patch. But your progress won't be saved, so you'll have to start at the beginning again.
Here's the full list of changes.
