The Division's upcoming DLC will have a period where its only available on the Xbox One console, which may be a problem for other gamers

The Division is finally out everywhere, after years of development and gamers are throwing themselves into mid collapse New York City. So it's already time to talk about the post game.

Ubisoft revealed some DLC details last week, with the Season Pass taking in three major new content releases throughout 2016 and now they've given out more information about how the content will be delivered. Microsoft has done a major deal which will see the DLC packs releasing exclusively to the Xbox One for a full 30 days before they become available anywhere else.

30 days is a long time and there will be plenty of PS4 and PC folks who have already paid for their Season Passes without knowing that they'll be waiting longer than their Xbox counterparts. While the deal must have been worth a lot to both Ubisoft and Microsoft it remains to be seen just how the public will react when the news goes wide. In the meantime, all platforms will be getting the free DLC drops at the same time, including a new game mode called Incursions which is due in March.
