The Banner Saga coming to PS4 in January

The Banner Saga will be released on PlayStation 4 in January, ahead of the release of the second instalment sometime in Q1 2016.
The gorgeous Viking-themed tactical RPG, The Banner Saga, will arrive on PlayStation 4 on January 13th.
The Banner Saga was originally released on PC, but John Watson has been hard at work on the port for some time. " The process involved not only getting Banner Saga playable on consoles, but redesigning the user experience to better fit PS4 and its controller," according to publisher Versus Evil.
The PlayStation 4 should be more than capable of handling the game's graphical elements. As for the controller, The Banner Saga is a turn-based strategy game mixed with a choose-your-own-adventure storytelling experience. As such, the move from mouse to gamepad shouldn't alter the experience drastically.
The Banner Saga was initially a Kickstarter success and went on to sell enough to justify a trilogy of games. The second part is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2016 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. And you'll be able to carry saved games over.
No price has been mentioned for the PS4 port of The Banner Saga. You can see the game in action in the trailer below.
