If you're squeamish at all it might be time to look away, as these folks are tearing a Samsung Galaxy S7 apart right before your eyes.

It's all for a good cause though, because the team at iFixit aims to find out just how easy it is to make repairs to your smartphone. They break down the components and give them a score, for example how easy it is to replace the screen in event of a breakage without having to pay for very expensive repairs. It's a public service really, and also a chance to find out what these gorgeous looking devices have going on inside.

You can step through the whole process here,

Look how small the cameras are in a smartphone, and all the tiny bits and pieces which keep you connected to the world. Unfortunately the handset itself won't be that easy to repair for most people, with a score of 3 out of 10. You might be able to put in a new battery but seals you'll have to break could render the waterproofing of the phone nonfunctional, which is a bigger worry. The short version - don't break your S7 and you should be fine!
