Street Fighter V is getting the first ever story mode in the long running franchise and fans should expect it to be pretty short
Street Fighter V is out and slowly getting on top of server woes which have stopped some players from connecting to eachother online. Early reviews are mostly positive, though it sounds like there's a lack of content available at launch.
Luckily, there's plenty more on the way including the first ever story mode in the history of the franchise. It's going to arrive as a totally free DLC pack in June 2016 and will include all manner of fancy cut scenes and presumably also a good amount of fighting because that's what the game is all about.
Capcom released a video interview with producer Yoshinori Ono and Ayano, assisant producer who is dressed as Chun-Li for some reason. They had plenty to say, including confirming that the story mode will last between 1 and 2 hours. That's pretty short, even for free content.
