Star Wars Battlefront fans won't be able to continue the adventure with Rey, Finn, Poe, and Kylo because The Force Awakens isn't to feature as DLC.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens may be the hottest property at the box office at the moment, but Star Wars Battlefront players won't be experiencing any more than Jakku for now.

EA told fans that DLC "for this release of Star Wars Battlefront" will cover the original trilogy. There are four DLC releases coming this year with new maps, weapons, and heroes and villains.

The Force Awakens fans will have to make do with the free Battle of Jakku DLC.

It's interesting that EA clarifies that The Force Awakens won't be covered in DLC for "this release." We can almost certainly expect a sequel, but it won't arrive any time soon. DICE is currently working on Battlefield 5.
