Sony will be releasing its branded noise cancelling PlayStation 4 in-ear stereo headset in December.

Sony is set to debut its noise-reducing AudioShield technology, which should make your gaming sessions more immersive or filter out any unwanted background noise.

The handset has a built-in microphone, a mute switch, and dedicated volume buttons. It can be used for gaming or with your smartphone to listen to music or make and take calls. You can get a run through of the in-ear stereo headset’s features in the video below.

Sony says that the wired headset lasts for around 15 hours on a single charge when using the noise reduction feature.

Gamers in Ireland and the UK will be able to pick up the headset from December 4th. It will retail for €90 (£78).
