The Grammy Awards decided to do something a bit different this year with a video feed from right inside the award itself
The Grammy's took place last night, with Taylor Swift taking top honours with Album of the Year for hit 1989. She also picked up awards for best Pop Vocal Album and Best Music Video in an impressive performance.
For 2016, the Grammy's introduced a fun new feature which let audiences share a bit of the award glory - a camera mounted inside the actual Grammy itself. These little broken down GoPros had about 2 hours of battery life and had to be carefully managed on the night to make sure they didn't run out of juice before the all important ceremony. You can see what it's like to be Taylor Swift's Grammy with the Grammy Cam view right here.
It's a pretty weird idea and we're not convinced it was entirely successful. The aim was to have unusual footage which could be used to get a live angle on proceedings but mostly this looks like someone left their phone somewhere at an odd angle recording a bunch of out of focus faces in a crowded auditorium. One big issue is of course there there's no sound, presumably for a whole bunch of reasons including hearing things that we shouldn't from famous people, so there's Swift's acceptance speech for the award.
