Uncharted 4 A Thief's end is set to be a major send off for the character of Nathan Drake, and Naughty Dog is going all out to make it great
The Uncharted series has become one of the most seminal franchises in the history of the PlayStation, ever since first debuting back in 2007. It's the mixture of incredible graphics, amazing adventures and strong story and characters which makes it so memorable.
In 2016, the adventure is coming to an end with Uncharted 4, as developers Naughty Dog have confirmed this will be the last outing for Nathan Drake under their leadership. The title is telling too - Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
The new game is the first in the series not to appear on the PlayStation 3 console and that meant a huge amount of extra work for the development team, essentially forcing them to recreate everything from scratch to make the best of the new PS4 hardware. It has been a huge job but the result for players is the most detailed vision of Uncharted ever seen, right down to the pores on Drake's face and the mud he splashes through on the way to his next puzzle or pratfall.
You can get a glimpse at the mammoth task of bringing Uncharted 4 to life in this fascinating video.
