Samsung is reportedly planning to release three variants of the Galaxy S7; a regular-sized handset, an Edge variant, and an Edge+ device.
With the announcement of Samsung's next line of flagship handsets approaching, the leaks are coming thick and fast.
The latest report comes courtesy of a leaked screenshot of a device with a 5.7-inch display with a 2560x1440 resolution. The leak also indicates that the device will feature a 12.2MP rear-facing snapper and a 5MP camera at the front for selfies and video calls. It’s also rumoured that this new Samsung handset will feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB RAM.
Samsung may launch the three variants at the same time, but it seems more likely that the regular S7 with a 5.1-inch display and the the S7 Edge will be launched initially with the larger phablet to follow.
Samsung is expected to unveil its upcoming handsets at its Unpacked event, which typically takes place mid-February or at Mobile World Congress at the end of February.
