Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S7 will reportedly feature a pressure-sensitive screen and a new, high-speed charging port.
Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S7 is expected to feature a pressure-sensitive display, similar to the iPhone 6S' 3D Touch display, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Citing "people familiar with the matter," the report states that both variants of the Galaxy S7 will feature pressure-sensitive displays. Depending on the amount of pressure applied, users may be able to interact with their phones in different ways.
The report also maintains that the Galaxy S7 will boast a new, high-speed charging port. It's expected that this would be the USB Type-C port, which would allow for a full battery charge in under 30 minutes.
Samsung, according to the rumour, is also considering adding a retina scanner and a memory card slot to some smartphone models.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 will reportedly be released in March, complete with its pressure-sensitive screen and high-speed charging port.
