There have been plenty of leaks in recent weeks about the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge letting us know what we can expect from the device. There have also been certain assumptions made, but one of those may be inaccurate.

Many onlookers might have expected Samsung's upcoming devices to feature a USB-C port, but that won't be the case according to Android Authority's sources. Instead, they are likely to stick with the traditional microUSB port.

The source also said that the devices will feature a 12MP sensor, a 2,800mAh battery, microSD support, and will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

There isn't much left to find out about Samsung's upcoming handsets. Even its own website recently indicated that the Galaxy S7 Edge will be waterproof. Now we just have to wait to find out if it'll be IP68 or IP67 rated.
