Samsung Galaxy Note 5 coming to Europe in January
The Galaxy Note 5 may finally be released in Europe in January 2016, almost half a year after its release in the U.S. and just before the new flagship.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 5 and the S6 edge+ together in the U.S., but only brought the latter to Europe. Those who have held out for the Note 5 in Europe may be rewarded for their patience in January.
A report from Gadgette, which cites " a trusted Samsung source," says that a European release for the Galaxy Note 5 is planned. Apparently it will be released in late January 2016. This would see it miss the Christmas window and arrive just before it announces its next flagship smartphone.
The Galaxy Note 5 features a 5.7-inch QHD display, octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 16MP rear camera and 3000mAh battery. The main differences between the Note 5 and the S6 edge+ are the stylus and curvature of the screen.
Pricing and availability is yet to be announced. Samsung, of course, is yet to confirm or deny the rumour. But we shouldn't have too long to wait to hear more.
