Rocket League's Hoops trailer is a slam dunk

Rocket League will be getting a new basketball mode next week, titled Hoops Mode, alongside paid-for DLC featuring an array of NBA team flags.

Rocket League will embrace basketball next week with the release of Hoops Mode, as part of a free update.

Alongside the new mode, the patch introduces a new arena called Dunk House, a new take on the standard arena. Anyone who downloads the patch will get a single NBA team flag, but there’s also a paid-for NBA Flag Pack, which contains flags for all 30 NBA teams.

That’s not all the DLC that developer Psyonix has planned. It also revealed that Rocket League will be getting Euro Truck Simulator 2 items, and vice-versa. This is the latest in its line of cross-promotional deals that currently includes Goat Simulator and Dying Light.

You can see how Hoops Mode works in the trailer below. As you can see, you don’t need to be worried about being called for Goaltending. Hoops Mode will be released on April 26th.
