Rocket League fans can now download the Holiday update, which adds Hockey Mode and a range of free holiday-themed items that drop post-matches.

Rocket League is the game that keeps on giving. The latest free DLC, which includes a new mode and items, is now available.

Players can embrace the winter season with Hockey Mode, which replaces the traditional ball with a puck and makes the arenas look icy. The puck has no traction and slides up walls quite easily, so that will require some readjustments.

Hockey Mode is something that Psyonix is open to keeping in the game. However, its presence will depend on demand. So if players want it to stay, they need to make it known.

Also available until January 4th are a range of free Holiday items. Like the Halloween items before them, these will drop randomly after a match, allowing players to adorn their cars with festive trinkets.

You can download the latest Rocket League update now.
