Rocket League will be free-to-play this weekend on Steam.

You can jump straight into the action right now via Steam, and if you enjoy what you see you can pick it up at a discounted price until April 25th. There’s 40% off the price, bringing it down to €11.99 from €19.99.

Unfortunately, the free trial expires just before the Hoops update lands next week. So, while you’ll be able to enjoy soccer with cars, you’ll have to buy the game to try out the basketball mode.

Those who own Rocket League can also avail of discounts for the DLC. There’s 20% off all five car packs, as well as the game’s official soundtrack.
