Rocket League getting free Portal DLC
Rocket League players will soon be able to emblazon their car with cosmetic items from Valve's series of Portal games with the release of free DLC.
Rocket League is getting another free batch of DLC, this time in the form of content from Valve’s Portal and Portal 2.
Included in the pack are a Companion Cube antenna, a Cake topper, and gels to replace your rocket trail. All you have to do to potentially earn one of these Aperture-themed items is play until the end of a match. Whether you win or lose, you have a chance of walking away with a new goodie to stick onto your car.
We’ll be honest; we had visions of utilising portals to dash around the pitch and make spectacular shots or saves. But aesthetic items are still fun. And the former would have been wasted on us anyway.
The Portal-themed DLC will be available from December 1st.
Rocket League Portal DLC:
- Cake (Topper)
- Conversion Gel (Rocket Trail)
- Propulsion Gel (Rocket Trail)
- Repulsion Gel (Rocket Trail)
- Aperture Laboratories (Antenna)
- Cake Sticker (Antenna)
