Xbox One owners tempted by Rise of the Tomb Raider, which continues Lara Croft's adventures, can now try the game as a demo was released this morning.

If the release of Rise of the Tomb Raider wasn't quite enough to convince you to pick it up on Xbox One, you can now try it out for yourself.

Microsoft released a demo for the timed exclusive this morning. It weighs in at 21GB, so it's fairly hefty for a demo. That's about as big as the full game, so you could easily be looking at a trial and unlock approach rather than your traditional demo.

Rise of the Tomb Raider has been getting very positive reviews, but sales have been underwhelming. Of course, it did come out as an Xbox One exclusive and on the same day as Fallout 4!

Despite this, Rise of the Tomb Raider director Brian Horton recently said Microsoft and Square Enix were both "very happy" with the game.
