Rainbow Six Siege beta planned just before launch - progress won't carry over

Rainbow Six Siege will be released on December 1st, but Ubisoft will run one last beta as a stability check and to let players see changes implemented.
Rainbow Six Siege will launch on December 1st, but that means there's just enough time to squeeze another beta in, according to Ubisoft.
The upcoming beta will begin on November 25th, or November 24th if you played the previous one, and concludes on November 29th. It's a bold strategy with the full game coming out just days later.
The beta will feature three maps (Hereford, House, and a first look at Kanal) and fourteen of the twenty operators that will be available when Rainbow Six Siege launches, giving players a good taste of what they can expect. The Secure Area and Bomb PvP modes as well as the Disarm Bomb PvE Terrorist Hunt mode will be playable in the beta.
Despite the beta ending mere days before the game launches, progression, inventory, and ranked gameplay will not carry over.
This beta will help ensure a more stable launch and will let players see how Ubisoft took feedback from the previous beta on board.
Rainbow Six Siege launches on December 1st.
