No Man's Sky is set to release in June 2016 and the fancy Limited Edition version of the game is finally up for pre order
No Man's Sky is coming out on the 22nd of June 2016, and it's set to look a little bit like this.
Rutger Hauer there, echoing his lines from the closing moments of Ridley Scott's Bladerunner, which is a pretty genius touch. Now we have no idea if the experience of actually playing the game will be anything like that, but it is fair to say that No Man's Sky has the potential to be one of the most interesting games of the current generation.
It releases on the 22nd of June and that's not so very far away, which made it all the more worrying that not all versions were available to pre-order. Thankfully that's changed, and you can now secure your copy of the rather lovely looking Limited Edition from Amazon Germany.
This version runs €79.99 and includes a gorgeous steelbook, art book and exclusive comic with some back story as well as a handful of digital extras including a dynamic theme, DLC and bonus items. Here's how it looks.
Obviously you also get the game inside the steelbook. For only a tenner more than the regular old retail version this is a reasonable enough upgrade, which is exactly what the publishers will want you to think to get a little more of your hard earned dough. There's also a limited PC-only collector's edition with a toy spaceship that costs a pretty whopping €150.
No Man's Sky is out on PS4 and PC from the 22nd of June 2016.
