Sony's PlayStation VR headset is to be launched this autumn, according to Gamestop CEO Paul Raines who says that the retailer is prepping for its launch.
PlayStation VR is expected to arrive this autumn, according to Gamestop CEO Paul Raines.
Speaking with Fox News, Raines revealed when the VR headset will be launched. "We are right now preparing for the launches of the major VR products. We're in discussions with Oculus, HTC Vive and with Sony...," Raines said. "It's a big launch, we're getting ready for it. We will launch the Sony product this fall and we are in discussions with the other two players."
Raines was speaking about the booming VR industry and drew upon predictions from investment banking firm Goldman Sachs who say that the VR industry will be worth $80bn by 2025.
