No Man's Sky is finally being dated properly and you'll be able to pre order the game now, plus there's a cool collectors set!
No Man's Sky is coming on the 24th of June 2016!
That's an official and totally final date straight from the developers, after a lot of leaks and rumours and the suggestion that maybe the game was too ambitious to ever get a full release. But we're going to be visiting the universe concocted by Hello Games in June and you can pre-order the game right now.
Hello Games also revealed that the game will be arriving digitally on PC and PS4 on the same day (which is definitely news to us) and will also receive a physical release. On top of that, a fancy comic book and art book have been created to build on the lore of the game and they'll be all together in a limited edition version which will street on the same day. Here's a glimpse at what it will look like.
The base digital version of the game will cost €60 so expect this version above to cost more, and we can't see any real advantage to pre ordering at the moment, though that's sure to be revealed at a later time. If you're really excited about the game and are deeply into collector's set and have money to burn there's also another version in the works called the No Man's Sky Explorer's Edition.
This set will cost a whopping $150 and includes a copy of the game (digitally on Steam or GOG) a hand painted shp replica, traveller pin, mystery gift sticker and other cool stuff. And it really is (kinda) limited as well with only 10,000 copies being made. Here's what it will look like.
You know you want it but you probably shouldn't...
