Five Nights at Freddy's World - an RPG spin off of the scary main Five Nights at Freddy's series - has been pulled from Steam by the developer
Had you planned on playing Five Nights at Freddy's World - the RPG spin off from the scary puzzle game series? Well you can't, because it's been taken down from Steam.
Developer Scott Cawthon removed the game himself in response to the numerous poor reviews for the new software, which he released almost a month early. Most write ups suggested there wasn't a lot of content and what was there was difficult to enjoy or, sometimes, just plain broken.
It was an ambitious move for the developer to create a game of this type on his own and that hasn't quite worked out. In the meantime, every person who paid money will be getting a full refund, though Cawthon says it may take a little while to get that sorted with Steam.
But FNAFW isn't gone yet - Cawthon is going back to fix the issues and will be creating a new version. The best news is that once it's complete it will be entirely free, forever!
"I'm still going to work on FNaF World and polish it up. I'm busy creating a fully 3D overworld for the game. When I'm ready to update the game, I will replace the demo currently on GameJolt with the full game. From this point forward, the game will always be free."
