Morgan Freeman's dulcet tones can finally guide drivers home

Emma Clark

Google has gotten Morgan Freeman on board to offer navigational directions through its Waze app as a marketing tie-in with London Has Fallen.

Morgan Freeman is the latest celebrity to lend his voice to navigation. Unfortunately, you’ll need to be in America to enjoy him driving you home.

Google has snapped up his precious vocal cords for its free navigation app, Waze. There’s a promotional angle to this addition; it’s a marketing tie-in for Freeman’s upcoming film, London Has Fallen.

In this film, Freeman plays the vice president. Interestingly, as it’s a tie-in, Freeman addresses you, the driver, as if you are the president. That sounds a little unusual, but we’re not going to argue; we’ll finally be able to have directions read out by Morgan Freeman!

You can download Waze from the Google Play Store.
