Microsoft has released an iOS app to make you look better in selfies. The Microsoft Selfie for iOS app takes in a number of elements to produce better pics.

The Microsoft Selfie for iOS app is now available, making you look better in selfies.

It does so by analysing the user’s age, gender, skin tone, lighting, and a number of other variables to produce better looking selfies. Then when you take a picture, it lets you tweak elements like noise reduction, intelligent enhancement, automatic exposure and colour themes so that you're 100% happy with how your image looks.

One drawback of the app is that it doesn't let you share the image to other apps directly. You'll first have to save the image before you can share it via a messaging or social media app. But at least you'll have it backed up locally.

Microsoft Selfie is now available from iTunes and it's free!
