Microsoft is reportedly asking Windows Insider testers to test out the Windows Phone Word Flow keyboard on their iPhones.

The Verge has acquired e-mails that indicate that Word Flow will soon be available to test on iOS handsets. There’s no indication as to when Word Flow will be available to the general iOS userbase. But as Microsoft is testing the keyboard, a release within a few months seems likely.

The Windows Phone version of Word Flow includes autocorrect, suggestions, gestures, and swipe functionality to type out words. It seems likely that the iOS version will also feature all of these.

Microsoft has stated its intentions to offer experiences across multiple platforms, so it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that features like Word Flow and Cortana will make their way to other operating systems.

Word Flow looks likely to first make its way to iOS before arriving on other operating systems at a later date.
