Max Payne coming to PS4 this week
The original Max Payne is set to arrive on Sony's PlayStation 4 console this week, so you'll get to see him bullet time in HD
Bullet time became all the rage after the success of The Matrix in cinemas, and Max Payne is still the best at shooting things while suspended in mid air.
For our money, it was 2003's Max Payne 2 which used the system best but it all started back in 2001 with the original game. And if you happened to miss it the first time around (on account of still being in primary school or something crazy like that) there's some good news - it's coming back to PlayStation 4.
The news of Max Payne coming to PS4 was casually dropped into the weekly PlayStation Europe Blog which lists upcoming releases. And there's Max Payne with a date of the 22nd of April and no extra information.
There is a listing on the PlayStation Store for the game, but its an emulated version of the PS2 original for PS3. That currently costs €9.99 so we're expecting the revamped PS4 version to be a little more, and likely feature upscaled 1080p visuals and trophies. Now let's get Max Payne 2 up there as well and we'll be happy.
In other nostalgia news, the PS4 remake of Ratchet & Clank is out today and it looks absolutely bleeding marvellous.
