Mafia 3 is set in a made up place called New Bordeaux that owes a lot to New Orleans, and it looks blooming gorgeous
Mafia 3 is the surprising continuation of a series we haven't heard from in years, with a new settting in the 1960s and a playable character called Lincoln Clay.
Clay's pretty angry because some of his folks just got murdered by the Italian mob, and he was already in pretty bad form after coming back from the horrors of Vietnam. Basically, he's in the mood for some fighting, which comes in handy when he decides to take on the mob single-handedly and pretty much destroy the entire city of New Bordeaux along the way.
Here's a look at this open world adventure, with lots of gorgeous graphics and gruesome kills.
It definitely has more than a hint of GTA about it but the original Mafia actually had its own unique look and feel and this game, while quite different, is certainly more than GTA clone. We're looking forward to seeing how it turns out when the game launches in October 2016.
