Apple is expected to announce a smaller iPad Pro at its event on March 21st, a rumour that is gathering momentum thanks to a leaked case.

Apple has issued invites for an event on March 21st and it looks like a smaller iPad Pro may be announced on the day.

A leaked case has appeared online, thanks to Steve Hemmerstoffer, that points to some features that the next iPad will have. The case fits a 9.7-inch tablet, making it significantly smaller than the 12.9-inch iPad Pro that was released last year, and features two cut-out portions for speaker grilles.

One feature that indicates that this tablet will fall under the Pro umbrella is the Smart Connector port on its left side. It's likely that there will be plenty of accessories available for this tablet, including a keyboard and case.

Alongside a new iPad, Apple is also expected to announce a smaller iPhone, titled the iPhone 5SE, as well as new bands for the Apple Watch.

Stay tuned for all the latest news from Apple's upcoming event.
