J.K. Rowling was woken by her sleep app last night and took to Twitter to tell fans about her terrifying experience.
Sleep apps can be quite beneficial, allowing us to analyse how well and how much we sleep, or set an alarm to wake us gently when we’re good and ready. But apparently they can be terrifying too.
J.K. Rowling took to Twitter to inform her followers about an experience that put her off a certain unnamed sleep app. “Woken at 3am by new sleep app, convinced that an intruder was breathing heavily in the dark. Have decided not to review to get new sounds,” she wrote.

Fans chimed in with suggestions of alternative apps to use, while some shared their own experiences of using sleep apps.
