How does the iPad Pro withstand being dropped from a height? Rather than putting your device at risk, why not find out from a professional?

With the iPad Pro now in some people's hands, it was only a matter of time before YouTubers started filming themselves putting it through all manners of durability tests.

TechRax, known for his destruction of smart devices, conducted a drop test on the iPad Pro. He first drops the 12.9-inch tablet on its side from 4 feet before then dropping it straight down on its screen.

He usually drops devices from 5 feet, but because of its size he was pretty sure it wouldn't stand a chance.

The iPad Pro survives the side drop test without suffering too many blemishes, but its screen can't withstand the force of being dropped face down.

The iPad Pro is now available to purchase. It'll cost €939 for the 32GB Wi-Fi model up to €1,269 if you want to get the 128GB model with Wi-Fi and cellular.
