Huawei is expected to announce a new device on April 6th and the P9 looks set to be that device. New images of the device have been posted online.
Huawei is hosting an event on April 6th where it’s expected to announce the Huawei P9.
The handset has appeared in leaks over the past few months, but the latest leak, via GSMArena, shows off the P9 in all its glory. We get to see Huawei’s upcoming flagship device from a number of angles, which seemingly show the final design.
The Huawei P9 looks set to feature a thin metal body and a dual-camera setup. It was previously reported that the P9 would feature technology from photography experts Leica and it looks like this could be the case from these images.
There are also rumblings that the Huawei P9 will come in a number of different variants. One could feature a 5.2-inch display, Huawei’s own Kirin 950 SoC, and somewhere in the region of 4GB up to a mammoth 6GB RAM, though the latter will most likely be restricted to a top-tier model.
Huawei’s upcoming event will be held on April 6th.
