HTC has reportedly been contracted to manufacture both of Google's Nexus handsets this year, which will be similar in size to the 5X and 6P.
Last year, Google asked LG and Huawei to make the Nexus 5X and 6P respectively. It looks like HTC alone will be trusted with making the two Nexus handsets this year.
Rumours circulating on Chinese social network Weibo indicate that one handset will clock in at 5-inches, while the other will be a 5.5-inch phablet. Little else is known about either handset just yet.
HTC made the first Nexus phone in 2010 and the Nexus 9 tablet in 2014, so it has a proven track record.
The HTC-built Nexus phones are expected to launch this autumn.
