HTC One M10 rumours - camera and date
The HTC One M10 is on the way, that much is certain, and we're hearing more about the potential features of this new smartphone
The HTC One M10 is on the way, and the latest rumours give us a glimpse at the camera.
According to a new tipster, the M10 will sport a 12 megapixel sensor on the back with laser autofocus and phase detection and a pixel size of 1.55um. What that all means is very fast focussing and the kind of tech which should make low light photography easier. HTC hasn't had a lot of luck with its cameras in the past and these kinds of specs are clearly a response to that. It's likely the front facing camera will be at 5mp.
Another rumour has been around a potential launch date for the new flagship from HTC. Evan Blass, who seems to get the inside scoop pretty regularly, has said that the phone will be launching on the 9th of May 2016. As ever, these are just rumours and HTC hasn't released any official details on the One M10 as yet. It seems the company is skipping Mobile World Congress so an official launch will likely be left until they organise their own event later in the year.
