HTC has managed to leak the name of their next flaghship handset and it sounds like it's going to be pretty familiar
HTC's flagship naming convention is a bit strange - what does the One M part mean anyway? - but it looks like it isn't going away any time soon with the accidental confirmatin of the One M10.
A website noticed that the model number of One M10 was part of an online survey which came from HTC itself. The survey has since been taken down but the info was enough to confirm the name. Whoops!
We don't have any concrete details on the new device but several leaks have suggested a few bits and pieces. It might be waterproof (for the first time in the series) and possibly a bit of a makeover from the last model. It could come with a powerful Snapdragon 820 processor. A recent leaked camera sample suggests a lens with a f1.9 aperture which should make it plenty fast in low light and with an image resolution of 12 megapixels.
HTC will want to make a big splash with the One M10. Last year's model was fairly well received but didn't bring anything hugely interesting to the table and there's more competition than ever at the top of the flagship pile. The new handset could launch by mid April 2016.
