HP announces Swarovski-encrusted smartwatch
HP worked with designer Isaac Mizrahi on a Swarovski-encrusted smartwatch, which it recently unveiled. The smartwatch will cost $250.
HP has teamed up with American designer Isaac Mizrahi on a smartwatch graced by an array of Swarovski crystals.
The smartwatch features a watchface that has a transparent screen, which is activated by a dial. It can display incoming calls, messages, e-mails, and the number of steps you've taken.
It doesn't pack all the features you might have come to expect from a smartwatch. You can't use it to send voice messages, listen to music, or monitor your heart rate, for example.
The battery can last for years if you use it as a standard watch, but you'll get around five days out of it if you use its smarter features.
HP's smartwatch will retail for $250 with interchangable straps available, each of which will cost $40.
