Google has announced that its annual IO event will take place from May 18-20 this year.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced that the event will be held in Mountain View, California. He shared the news on social media saying that Google IO is heading back “to the neighbourhood where it all started 10 years ago.”
Typically, we hear about new versions of Android and major changes to apps and services. This year, it’s expected that Google will show off Android N, which could be a fairly significant update, and we may hear more about what Google has in store for Glass, a new version of Cardboard, and its plans for its suite of automated vehicles.
This is the 10th year of the developer gathering, and attendees will have “three full days together to dive deep into developer content, code labs, and more," according to Pichai.
