Google Calendar adds Goals to help you improve your life

Mark O'Beirne

Google is updating its Calendar app to add Goals today, so you can learn new skills and become a better person.

Google knows plenty about your current self, but its new Goals feature will help it find out about the person you want to become.

You can find the Goals feature within the Google Calendar app on Android and iOS. This will help you find the time to learn or develop skills.

The app features typical goals like exercising and learning new skills, as you would expect. Goals then asks how frequently you’d like to practice and what times might suit you best before then doing up a calendar for you.

Of course, for Goals to work, you’ll need to log every meeting and scheduled activity in your life. But then if a meeting runs over, Goals will automatically reschedule. The feature will start rolling out globally today.
