Elijah Wood teaming up with Ubisoft on VR projects

Elijah Wood's SpectreVision, which he founded alongside Daniel Noah and Josh C. Waller, is partnering with Ubisoft on upcoming VR projects.
SpectreVision, the production company founded by Elijah Wood, Daniel Noah and Josh C. Waller, today announced a partnership with Ubisoft that will result in the development of interactive virtual reality content.
SpectreVision CEO Lisa Whalen said that it was the diversity of Ubisoft's portfolio that made it an ideal proposition. "Together, we can tell an infinite number of unique stories in a bold and original new format,” she said.
Elijah Wood added, “As a longtime gamer, I’m first and foremost a fan and admirer of Ubisoft. So to be collaborating with them within the realm of VR is an incredible treat!”
Vice President at Ubisoft Montreal, Patrick Plourde, highlighted that SpectreVision's experience in horror films is particularly exciting, which may indicate what lies in store. Specific details about what projects will be undertaken were not revealed. Plourde simply said, "We’re looking forward to a collaboration that will ultimately offer fans an unforgettable virtual reality experience.”
The SpectreVision team will work in conjunction with Ubisoft’s FunHouse Studio in Montreal.
