Don't Starve: Shipwrecked will be released on PlayStation 4 this spring, according to developer Capybara Games.
Capybara Games announced that Don't Starve: Shipwrecked will set sail on PlayStation 4 this spring.
Shipwrecked sees Don’t Starve’s characters and game mechanics transported to a desert island with brand new biomes, creatures, bosses, weapons, and ways to avoid starvation. The title will also feature the new ability to craft boats, which will be required if you want explore new islands.
Lead writer and designer at Capybara Games, Dan Vader, said “Looking for a fresh take on their beloved survival game, Klei asked Capy if we’d be interested in creating a new expansion.”
“They gave us no guidelines or rules for what we could do with a Don't Starve game - just a blank canvas in the form of their amazing video game with a wickedly-committed community of diehard fans."
