Binding of Isaac DLC turns players into creators
A new Binding of Isaac mini expansion will be released next year that will let players build their own rooms and even tinker with custom mods.
A new mini expansion for The Binding of Isaac Rebirth, tentatively called Afterbirth † Afterbirth + (that's a cross), will be released next year and will include mod support.
Afterbirth † will include a "player/user-friendlier" Room Editor, Animation Editor, and Lua support. Players will even be able to edit item pools.
The Room Editor is exactly what it sounds like; players will be able to build and play custom made rooms. But modders will be eager to get their hands on the Animation Editor, which lets people create their own art and nightmares, and Lua Support, which will let players create new items, effects, characters, or even a new game that isn't Isaac.
Afterbirth † is expected to arrive some time next year and will also feature some new bosses, items, transformations, and trinkets.
