Dark Souls III is almost ready to unleash its pain upon each and every one of you, and it will be glorious.

The game has already been earning rave reviews as the best in the series to date, and is out in Japan for people who are particuarly dedicated to digital downloads. The European release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC starts on the 12th of April 2016, and folks are already pretty excited. Which is what makes this tweet all the more tantalising...

There's no more information than that, which means its time for idle speculation. Maybe the game will be ready to preload, which would be a nice treat. Perhaps there's news on what the DLC will be, or extra content available at launch? Or it could be altogether bigger news, like a remastered pack containing Dark Souls 1 and 2 for new gen consoles. Why not include Demon's Souls into the bargain, just to make fans self immolate in anticpation.

Right now, we're as in the dark as you are, but we'll have the news here first tomorrow.
