A man has filed a lawsuit against Bethesda because he became so engrossed in Fallout 4 that he played it for three weeks and lost everything else.

Bethesda is reportedly being sued by a 28-year-old Siberian man because he played Fallout 4 too much and lost everything.

A report from RT indicates that the unnamed man is filing a lawsuit against Bethesda Softworks and localization firm Softklab because there were no warnings provided that playing it could be dangerous to his health and well-being.

The man couldn't tear himself away from the game for three weeks. This resulted in him losing his job, shutting out friends, and neglecting his wife to the point that she left him.

"If I knew that this game could have become so addictive, I would have become a lot more wary of it," he said in a statement. "I would not have bought it, or I would have left it until I was on holiday or until the New Year holidays."

The suit seeks 500,000 roubles in compensation, which works out at about $7,000. Bethesda is yet to comment on the suit.
