Uncharted 4 is bringing the story of Nathan Drake to it's final conclusion and developers Naughty Dog have been on every step of the journey
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is coming to PlayStation 4 in May 2016, and it's bringing the adventure of Nathan Drake to a close after almost a decade. It's set to be a bittersweet moment for millions of fans around the world, and you can get a glimpse of the journey to create the game in this fascinating behind the scenes documentary. Hear from the developers behind the game and some of the main voice and motion capture actors, including Nolan North who has been Drake for years.
Drake is older and, possibly, wiser when his long-lost brother shows up out of the blue and coaxes him back for one last adventure. There are some pretty deep themes at play, with an ageing protagonist who maybe doesn't have what it takes to go out on the road again, and the important father-son connection with Sully being tested by the fierce relationship with his brother. There's also the new element of Elena as Nate's wife in the mix, helping to give the character real motivation and drive and difficulties.
Above all, this gives the game a huge amount of potential in terms of the story, and that's on top of the always exciting gameplay. We've also spent a lot of time with these characters over the years, and the video does a great job of showing how they've grown and changed over time.
Uncharted 4 is out on PS4 on the 10th of May 2016.
