Samsung has sent out German invitations to its 'Unpacked' event at the IFA tradeshow on 3 September, where it is widely expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Alpha handsets.
The Galaxy Note 4 will most likely be Samsung's biggest annoucement at the event. The device is rumoured to come with a curved 5.9-inch screen, 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution and the potential for up to 4 GB of RAM.
Apple's iPhone is currently the only the smartphone to feature a 64-bit processor, but Samsung is known to be working on the technology, and there is every chance the Galaxy Note 4 could be the company's first 64-bit handset.
The device is also rumoured to have a 16-megapixel camera, as well as an array of sensors including a fingerprint reader and heart rate sensor.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Alpha is expected to be Samsung's first smartphone to feature a brushed-metal casing.
