Samsung and Apple have gone to war again in their ongoing spat on patents.

The companies today went before judges in Australia and the Netherlands with both companies asking for the other’s products to be banned from sale.

In Sydney, Apple’s lawyers claimed that Samsung's Galaxy Tab infringed patents on its touchscreen interface.

But in a counter attack, Samsung said in the Hague that it is seeking a ban on the sale of iPads and iPhones over patents.

Apple has had more luck in the courts than Samsung which has yet to score a significant victory against the iPhone maker.

Both companies also have actions pending in the US.
