The online recruitment service myjob.ie has been hacked.
The website allows users to upload a CV to be viewed by potential employers.
The security breach took place earlier this week but users were only informed this morning.
In an email sent to all registered users, company director John Doupe said gardaí had arrested two individuals and a file was being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
"Although myjob.ie was not the primary source of the breach, as a precautionary measure we would ask all users to immediately change their password," he said in the email.
