James Bond's latest gadget is a smartphone

The new James Bond film, Spectre, is in cinemas soon and it seems the superspy is going to have a slick new gadget

This new ad shows off some spy-ish gadgets which might just turn up in the new film, as used by Miss Moneypenny herself - that's Naomi Harris.

The slow motion video looks great and was shot on the Sony RX100 Mark IV, with the rest of the ad being captured on Sony's own F65 4K cinema camera. The star of the show is obviously the new Xperia Z5 which was in the case all along. Moneypenny is seen showing off the great low light performance of the new camera, which comes with a 23 megapixel sensor and superfast focus.

The video pretty much confirms that Bond will be using the Xperia Z5 in the upcoming movie, and the agent has been fond of Sony phones and products in the past. Which might be because the film is made by Sony Pictures, just maybe.

The Sony Xperia Z5 is out in October. So is Spectre.
