Apple will be introducing two new colours for the iPhone 7 to replace space grey, an expert has said.
KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo - who has previously predicted significant iPhone changes with success - has said the new models will be available in five different colours including two new shades of black.
Leaked images of SIM trays also confirm the rumours that a matte "dark black" and glossy "piano black" will be replacing space grey, while silver, gold and rose gold will still be on offer.
A regular Apple leaker also posted a photo of the models, as well as prototype stickers, purporting to show the black variants of the new iPhones.
Kuo suggests that, initially, the "piano black" may only be offered exclusively on high-capacity iPhone 7 models due to low yield, as the company is said to be experiencing a production slump.
The decision would signal a return to iPhone 5, the last phone to include the shade, named black and slate.
Two new models of the iPhone are expected to be released on Wednesday 7, but they are unlikely to feature many radical design overhauls.
