Intel announces Irish appointments to senior positions

Global computer giant Intel has appointed three Irish employees to senior management positions.

Noel Murphy will become Intel’s Vice President of the Platform Engineering Group, Paul Scully is to move into a role as Vice President of Human Resources, while John Healy will take up a role as Vice President of the Data Centre Group.

Mr Murphy joined the company in 2000 and has focussed on bringing Intel products to market during his time at the company.

Mr Scully previously served as head of HR for the greater European region and was responsible of managing 300 hr professionals overseeing a workforce of 23,000.

Mr Healy is responsible for delivering solutions for the Intel global strategy in the area of cloud services and communications service providers.
